It is part of medac's philosophy to conduct research in corporation with academic institutions as well as pharmaceutical or biotech companies.

Our major focus in both the therapeutics and diagnostics field is on oncology, autoimmune diseases, and immunology. In terms of diagnostics we also develop test systems for infectious diseases.

We are always interested in expanding our portfolio of products in the various fields which also includes supportive care and our basic therapeutics. For the latter we are interested in adding value to well known preparations in order to serve the needs and requirements of the market.

For preclinical development, medac has access to a network of universities and institutes that conduct preclinical investigations.

Our department of clinical research organises and monitors clinical trials starting from phase I up to phase III and IV.

In terms of regulatory affairs we can also make use of in-house expertise. Our regulatory department has broad experience in any of the European procedures in addition to national applications in various countries in which our preparations are marketed.
